A

The media would tell the Hutus when to kill the Tutsi through the radio. The media was also helpful when they had shown what was going on to people around the world.

How did the international community respond? The U.S. specifically? Why?

A

The U.S. would say things going on were bad but wouldn’t do anything and didn’t want to claim it as a genocide or else they would have had to got involved. From the Rwanada Genocide the U.S. said they wouldn’t get involved with Africa anymore. Other countries would go and help them by being peacekeepers but they could hardly do anything about what was happening. Other people went over to help the children and others.

A

When the Tutsi led Rwanda patriotic front stepped up it’s assualt agaisnt the goverment and so the genocide came to an end.
