Possessive structure

De/het…. Van: De tas van de leraar is groot.
1. We can only turn proper names into possessive nouns. Andrew’s bicycle. you can’t say my neighbour’s bicycle.
2. We only use apostrophe if the name ends in a vowel. (Except mute e). If it ends in s, just add an apostrophe. If it ends with a consonant, just add only s.Eg: Dat is Loes’ jas. Oma’s auto. Jannekes dochter. Toms sleutel.
3. Ending in sis or klank(s, z, x, sch)
