Why is the Bussaco Palace Hotel important on the Portuguese wine landscape
Originally designed as a cathedral of wine to showcase the region has selected and matured it’s own red and white Buraco wines in a unique way for decades. Blends are from Baga from Barraida and Touriga Nacional from Dao for reds and Encruzado from Dao blended with Bical and Maria Gomes from Barraida for whites. These famous blends are aged for years in barrel in the Palace cellars and sold exclusively on the hotel’s wine list.
