Populations And Ecosystems Flashcards
What’s a habitat?
Place where an organism is
What’s a population?
All the organisms of one species in a habitat.
What’s a community?
Populations of different species in a habitat.
What’s an ecosystem?

What’s a a adaptation?
A feature that members of a species have that increases their chance of survival and reproduction.
What are biotic interactions in a niche?
The organisms it’s eaten by and those it eats.
What are abiotic interactions in a niche?
Oxygen an organism breathes in and the carbon dioxide it breathes out.
What are the three types of adaptation?
Physiological (processes inside the body), behavioural (way an a organism reacts), anatomical (structural features of their body).
