The impacts of population growth
Population density increases
We use more land to grow the food that we need
We use more resources, some of which could run out
We produce more waste. Dumping it uses up more land
We create more pollution in the air, soil and sea
What do birth rate and death rate mean?
Birth rate means the amount of babies born and death rate means the amount of people who die.
The difference between the two is called NATURAL INCREASE

- Hospitals and doctors
- Disease
- Old age pensions
- War
- High infant mortality
- Children working for family
- Education
- Birth control
- Clean water supply
- Larger families due to tradition
