Formed a government in Scottish Parliament in 2007.
won 56 out of the 59 seats available to Scotland in 2015 Westminster election.
SNP failures?
lost 21 Scottish seats in 2017 election.
UKIP successes?
Elected to European Parliament in 2015
Won 12.6% of the popular vote (3.8million)
UKIP failures?
the 3.8million votes only got them one seat which they lost in 2017.
Since Paul Nutall resigned the party seems to be nearly extinct.
Green Party successes?
2015 general election they won one seat and still have this seat.
Green Party failures?
Haven’t gained much support in Westminster elections.
SNP key ideas and policies
Scotland to become a sovereign state within the EU.
Support PR and 16 year olds voting.
Opposed to Trident.
Have abolished uni tuition fees.
UKIP key ideas and policies
Best trade deals with EU without accepting free movement of people and labour.
Tight restrictions on immigration.
reduce tax evasion and avoidance.
Limited government.
Green Party key ideas and policies
Housing built by government. massive investment in public transport. abolish uni tuition fees abolish trident more constitutional reform.
