What to B-lines on US represent? Normal or not?

A

Abnormal. Dynamic, vertical ray extending from pleura to bottom of screen. Correlates with extravascular lung water (pulmonary edema), but not specific and can be seen in any alveolar filling or septal thickening defect (ARDS, IPF…)
