Q
Describe the Hub-and-Spokes model. What did Pobric et al.’s study show?
A
The Hub-and-Spokes model refers to semantic memory modules in the brain, with the Hub being involved in amodal representation of all semantic memory (located in the anterior temporal lobe) and the Spokes being involved in modal representations of semantic memory, located in the modality specific regions for sensory, motor and verbal aspects.
The study gave evidence for the Hub-and-Spokes model.
