A

If it appears the officer may be charged with a criminal offense as a result of his misconduct, or if the officer refuses to answer questions on the ground he may be self-incriminating, the questions must be preceded by a Lybarger warning.

A

Although you have a right to remain silent and not incriminate yourself, silence could be deemed insubordination, leading to administrative discipline, and any statement made under compulsion of the threat of discipline could not be used against you in any subsequent criminal proceeding.
