IV Co-Amoxiclav + PO Doxycycline
IV Levofloxacin if pen. allergic
How do you treat severe community acquired pneumonia requiring admission to ICU?
IV Co-Amoxiclav + IV Clarythromycin
IV Levofloxacin if pen. allergic
How do you treat non-severe hospital acquired pneumonia?
PO Amoxicillin for 5 days
PO Doxycycline if pen. allergic
How do you treat severe hospital acquired pneumonia?
IV Amoxicillin + IV Gentamicin
Co-Trimoxazole + Gentamicin IV if pen. allergic
How do you treat non-severe aspiration pneumonia?
PO Amoxicillin + Metronidazole
PO Doxycycline if pen. allergic

IV Amoxicillin + Metronidazole + Gentamicin
