Inflammation of lungs with consolodation and infiltrates caused by a branch of bacteria

A
Strep pneumoniae, staph aureus, Enterococcus, H. Influenzae, E Coli

What are the signs of pneumonia?
A
Pyrexia, tachypnoea, central cyanosis, bronchial breath sounds

A
Malaise, myalgia, chest pain, fever, rusty sputum, dyspnoea

A
CURB65, Oxygen, IV Fluids, ventilation, AMOXICILLIN, DOXYCYCLINE, CLARITHROMYCIN

What are the investigations for pneumonia?
A
CRP, FBC, Blood Culture, Throat Swab, Sputum Microscopy
