Method 5: Questionnaires
Equipment: questionnaire sheets, clipboards, pens, groups of pupils Methodology: approach people and ask questions politely.
What we expected: a wide variety of reasons why people visit Drakes Circus
Presentation
Range of methods - bar charts, pie charts, divided bar charts, desire line map, proportional symbols using ArGIS, radar graphs.
Conclusions:
It was clear from all of our data that Union street was in need of regeneration. EOS and pedestrian data confirmed this along with our photograph comparison. Drakes circus and The Barcode - both have undergone regeneration - scored significantly higher in our EOS ar busier as shown by our pedestrian count results

EBI: our survey would ve been improved by:
• Visiting further sampling points within the areas of Plymouth we were investigating
• Visiting on different days of the week/times of day/times of year
• Carrying out our pedestrian counts at the same time, it rained on Union Street
• Taking a class average of our EQS
WWW: our survey was quick, cheap and simple to complete. It did not require specialist equipment.
