Hot & Cold Water Systems
Aim of any water reticulation system:
- Reduce amount of pipes needed
* Reduce amount of pipe directional changes
1.Direct Cold Water systems
– Hight water pressure from main water supply
– Water is fed directly form main water supply
– Feeds all taps with drinkable water
2.Indirect Cold Water System
– Low water pressure from main water supply
– Water is fed to a water cistern in the roof
– Taps are supplied with non-drinkable water from cistern
– Only kitchen sink is supplied drinkable water directly from
main water supply
