What is the function of an input module?
Provide interface between the field device input signal and the processor.
What is the function of output modules?
Provide an interface from the processor to control a discrete output field device
What is an analog module?
Module that operates over a continuously changing range.
What is the function of an analog module?
Provide an interface between the processor and the analog input and or output field devices
