A
They pay rent to the English crown for acres of land and then sell it to English ans Scottish tenants/settlers.

A
Undertakers should rent the land to appropriate tenants.
They should provide settlers with weapons and fortified barn to fight against the Native Irish.

What did the undertakers failed to do?
A
Didn’t encourage the right kind of tenants.
Didn’t provide weapons or fortified barn for the settlers.
Broke rulers and allowed Irish to the rent the land cos they thought they were more profitable.
By taking land from the native Irish they angered them and they revolted.
