What is meant by the term plant disorder?

A

Physiological disorders

Disorders not caused by pests or disease but by some problem in the environment in which the plant is being grown.

How are plants affected by frost

A

Frost causes cells to freeze, contents expand, cell ruptures and is killed. Plants blacken and die. This happens to non hardy plants as a matter of course.
Damaging to young shoots and tips and buds reducing production of flowers and fruit.
