Q

Stages of How the plants photosynthesize

A
  1. Carbon dioxide enters the plant from the atmosphere and diffuses in through the open stomata.
  2. The CO2 goes into the spongy layer which has air gaps for the gas to easily diffuses into the palisade layer.
  3. In the palisade mesophyll layer, the CO2 is then used for Photosynthesis and releases Glucose and Oxygen.
  4. This is then carried by the xylem and phloem to be used for the growth of the plant.
