What is Burgess’s land use model
A model explaining how environmental quality and land use changes in a city depending on what area of the city you are in
What 3 things does the Burgess land use model state about the environmental quality and land use in the CBD
1) The CBD was the first place to be build
2) Full of:
- Shops
- Banks
- Offices
- Restaurants
3) There is very little urban space - High building density
