Plays a vital role in preventing mistakes and recognizes hidden opportunities. Also known as operational planning importance. Enables the management to focus clearly on what they want to achieve and how they can do it.

Guides to action. Establish a required method of handling future act. Detail the exact manner in which a certain act must be accomplished

Required actions chosen from among alternatives. Specific and definite action be taken or not with respect to a situation
Rules
Complex of goals, policies, procedures, task assignment and steps to be taken, to carry out on a given course of action.
