• patients were enrolled in the trial no less than 24 hrs or up to 10 days after inital presentation at the hospital and while they were hospitalized. they had to be hemodynamically stable.

• no new safety signals were detected in the trial.

• reduction of NT-proBNP was evident as early as 1 week with Entresto vs. enalapril
• trial also included 35% of black patients which was good b/c prior to trial there was limited evidence showing the use of sacubitril valsartan in black patients
