If you havent flown in 3 years what do you need to do fly?
Need a Flight Review (every 24 calendar months) 1 hour of ground and 1 hour of flight training given in an A/C pilot is rated in by authorized instructor and receive logbook endorsement certifying you have satisfactorily completed the review
To carry passengers, Pilot must have made within preceding 90 days
3 takeoff and landings as the PIC of plane in same category/class. or if at 3 night (1 hour after sunset 1 hour before sunrise) 3 takeoff and landings to full stop
Difference between Currency and Profiency?
Currency means you’re legal to fly. Profiency means you have the skills so that you’re safe to fly.
What is the Planes maxmimum crosswind? Is that a restriction?
12 Knots Max Crosswind. Not a restriction.
What are currency requirements for carrying passengers?
Preceding 90 days need 3 takeoff and landings in same category and class. 3 takeoff and landings to full stop if at night.
With your PPL can you fly your friends 300 HP plane with retractable gear?
No. You need to recieve and log ground and flight training, logbook endorsement for both high performance and complex aircraft in order to fly this plane.
