includes briefing, assigning tasks and operation of the ac along its flightpath to destination

responsible for assisting the P1 in safe ops of the sector
on this course who will be p1 or p2

all manual flying should be done from right hand seat
p2 left hand seat

what is the responsibility of PM
monitor and cross check all inputs and mode selections throughout flight
how do you give control
PF calls out ‘you have control’
PM must have hands and feet on controls or seated with easy unrestricted access of the controls before saying ‘ I have control’
how do you take control
PM calls out I have control
PF removes hands and feet from all the flight controls ad immediately adopts the full requirements of PM
if leaving flight deck for comfort break but make their intentions clear before handing over control so PF knows he has all roles
