  • Started the village as a place of security in WW2
  • It was used to look after children who had lost their parents
  • Over 100 people live at Taize
  • Over 100,000 visit every year
  • They bring different denominations together
  • Chants and dances promoting the idea of reconciliation
  • Spend time in private prayer, Bible-study groups
