-fever,fright or bleeding

Heart problems,brain is compressed or person is ACTIVE AND FIT

What’s the normal heart rate ?
A
60-100 BPM
measure yours in 15 secs and X4, 200-age to get maximum target heart rate

What is blood pressure ?
A
Pressure exerted by blood on walls of blood vessels

How does a blood pressure test work ?
A
-cuff containing rubber bladder is placed on upper arm at level of heart , blocks off blood supply to arm

What is a peak flow test ?
A
- measurement of lunch function, measures speed of breathing rate
- gives indication of width of bronchial tubes
