What is F.I.T.T?
Training programs are generally designed following the FITT principles
F.I.T.T stands for
Frequency, Intensity, Time, and Type
FITT principle
The F.I.T.T principle is a basic philosophy of what is necessary to gain in training effect from an exercise program
Frequency means
It is the number of times you exercise each week
Fine balance between providing just enough stress for the body to adapt
Frequency
Intensity means
It is how hard you working while you are exercising
Heart-rate
Used to measure the intensity of cardio-respiratory training
Workload
Used to define the intensity of resistance training
