What is the definition of Aerobic endurance?
The ability of the cardiorespiratory system to work efficiently supplying nutrients and oxygen to working muscles.
What is muscular endurance?
The ability of the muscular system to work efficiently where a muscle can continue contracting over a period of time against a light to moderate fixed resistance load.
What is muscular strength?
The maximum force that can be generated by a muscle or muscle group.
What is the definition of Flexibility?
Having an adequate range of movement in all joints of the body.
What is speed?
Distance divided by time.
What are the three types of speed?
Accelerative speed, pure speed, speed, endurance.
What is accelerative speed?
Accelerative speed is sprints up to 30 metres.
What is pure speed?
Pure speed is sprints up to 60 metres.
What is speed endurance?
Speed endurance is sprints with a short recovery period (rest) in-between.
What is body composition?
The relative ratio (amount) of fat mass to fat-free mass in the body.
What are the three types of body composition?
Ectomorph, mesomorph and endomorph
What is ectomorph?
Tall and thin.
What is mesomorph?
muscly
What is endomorph?
dumpy (fat).
