Gross motor skills

A

○ mature walking- age 3 (arms down, narrower)
○ 3.5 years- stage 1 begins- jumping more

○ between 4 and 7 years, begin a two-footed jump (before this, more of a 1-footed jump)

○ By age 5, most exhibit mature characteristics of jumping
○ Stages of
crawling-> creeping-> walking-> running-> jumping-> hopping-> gallop-> slide-> skip
