○ mature walking- age 3 (arms down, narrower)
○ 3.5 years- stage 1 begins- jumping more
○ between 4 and 7 years, begin a two-footed jump (before this, more of a 1-footed jump)
○ By age 5, most exhibit mature characteristics of jumping
○ Stages of
crawling-> creeping-> walking-> running-> jumping-> hopping-> gallop-> slide-> skip

○ 1st stage: supinate grasp (all 4 fingers around pencil in a fist) ○ 2nd stage (pronated grasp, palm down) ○ final stage by age 7 (dynamic tripod) ○ age 4- letters large ○ age 5- master name printing
