Can a police officer order journalists to not take photos of crime scene in public place / delete these images? Why/why not?
There is no criminal law to prevent journalists from taking photos in a public place.
Police have no legal power to demand the deletion of any images from journo’s camera / phones

If a journo refusing to stop taking photos is being disorderly in doing so they can arrested here if their behaviour is likely to cause ‘harassment, alarm or distress to another person’
