Glucagon

A

Rx Hypoglycaemia/Beta Blocker OD
DOSE: 1mg IM/SQ, IV/IO (adult) half that/kg for paediatrics less than 20kg
Rx Beta Blocker OD (adult)
LOADING: 2-5mg IV/IO over 1min
MAINTANENCE: (if symptoms persist) 10mg IV
NOTE: follow up with D50/D25 or oral glucose
Do not give to pts with sensitivity to beef/pork
Preg. Class B
