PG-85-00-10-A ACMS Flashcards
ALMIS is not a new system: rather, it is an evolution of two legacy systems, _______ and _________
- Asset Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS) 2. Asset Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS)
The ACMS program is comprised of several smaller subsystems dedicated to the tracking and reporting of all aspects of asset maintenance and logistics. What systems collectively comprise ACMS?
- ACMS Maintenance Reporting and Tracking 2. Mandatory Special Requirements (MSR) 3. Special Requirements
Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) program
Used to monitor and control the inherent reliability of fixed and rotary wing aircraft and surface vessels. The program monitors the performance of asset components continuously, and brings problems and deteriorating trends to the attention of Coast Guard management.
ACMS Processing Cycle
When the operating activity performs a maintenance task, the action is reported via MPC. Each maintenance action report includes: 1. Date 2. Zulu Time 3. CMSCODE 4. Component or asset ID 5. Total asset hours (recorded to the tenth of an hour)
ACMS Reports
- Operational Reports - used daily by the operating units in support of maintenance. 2. Management Reports - Managerial reports provide statistical information regarding fleet readiness and data for performance and reliability analysis. Additional reports address MSR (including the status of deployed Search and Rescue(SAR) equipment and SR status. 3. System Reports - Reserved for support of ACMS database management, and therefore are not pertinent (or accessible) to most users.
ACMS Support Asset maintenance analysts have an average of how many years of Coast Guard aviation experience and provide real world maintenance expertise to ACMS?
25 Years.

Accessing the ACMS Computer
NOTES
NOTE:
The Caps Lock must be off when working in ACMS
NOTE:
If you cannot access the ACMS host computer after several attempts, contact CG-FIXIT at 1-855-243-4948, option 6
Maintenacne Procedure Card (MPC) Signoff:
The ACMS database is funtionally comprised of three(3) categories.
- Maintenance Requirements
- Maintenance History
- Maintenance Actions
MPC data Entry:
Do not use the same Zulu time when entering multiple sign off’s on the same aircraft/component. Ensure to use a seperation of at least ______ minute.
1 minute
Significant Component History (SCH) Text:
ACMS has two tables per asset type that, when combined via the SCHR, provide significant historical data for each serial tracked component. The data is essentially identical to the information provided on what form?
AFTO-95 Form.
SCH Text Entry Form(00SCHR.0)
the SCH text entry option allows the operator to add important information to the component history record. How many characters are you limited to in the comments sections?
limited to 600 characters
TCTO Tracking:
Primarily who uses the TCTO tracking system in ACMS
- Coast Guard Headquarters (CG-41)
- ALC Engineering Services Division personnel
MPC Signoff Commands (TQ)
How many MSR/MPC Signoff commands are there?
6 Commands
- Execute
- Remarks
- Signoff type
- Clear
- End
- Quit
Significant Component History Text
The Data is essentially identical to the information provided on an AFTO-95 form.
Comments written via MPC signoffs are not accessible for corrections or other changes. Contact the maintenance analyst if an MPC generated comment must be charnged
