Pain: esp on erection
Penile chordee gen dorsally
Loss of erections: venous leak due to plaque.

Management
A
Mainstay is to manage symptoms while active phase of disease wears out.
Pain= vitamin E and colchicine
Intralesional injections: verapamil or interferon
Penile curve= once disease is stable. Nesbit vs plaque excision.
Loss of erections= penile prosthesis.

Definition, etiology and pathology
A
Fibrous plaque involving the tunica albuginea of the penis.
1% of male pop, gen middle aged, 15-20% have asso Dupuytren’s contracture of Palmer fascia.
Fibrous plaque @ dorsum of testes 80% mid shaft/ distal.
