Bottom line conclusions individuals have about their capabilities, competence, and worth as a person
Self-monitoring
An individuals ability to adjust behavior to external, situational factors
Proactive Personality
Those who identify opportunities, show initiative, take action, and preserve until meaningful change occurs
Situation Strength Theory
The way personality translates into behavior depends on the strength of the situation

The degree to which norms, cues, or standards dictate appropriate behavior

Desirable end-state. Goals to achieve during a lifetime.

Preferable modes of behavior or a means of achieving terminal values

People are attracted to organizations that match their values and leave organizations that are not compatible with their personalities
