  • His meetings were banned but he still campaigned

Why did Oscar Romero do what he did?

A
  • The Bible teaches to speak for those who are voiceless
  • Jesus also broke the rules (healed people on the Sabbath Day)
  • It is important to respect the law till it goes against the teachings of Christianity
