Q

The electronic configuration rules:

A

-When drawing the arrows in the boxes, the arrows go in opposite directions.
-The 4s box goes before the 3d box but it is written after.

Q

How do you work out the number of protons, neutrons and electrons?

A

The number of protons and electrons are the same by looking at the atomic number. To work out the number of neutrons, you would do the atomic mass minus the atomic number.
