Stage Entering & Exiting

A
  • Enter from the sides of the stage, not the middle
  • Line up in rank order, typically highest on the left, lowest on the right (When looking at the stage)
  • Make sure to stand in a clear area and not on a pillow
  • Center yourself accordingly with the rank order
  • You or another staff member will state why you are up there (meals, performances, games, etc.)
  • Can enter from the left or the right, enter from the same side as you exited
    • Depends on event room, some rooms have a staff door, meaning you would enter and exit from whatever side that was on (ideally)

Performance Introductions (Before)

A
  • Begin by walking on stage with your microphone
  • Say “Attention, kudasai!” with a little bit of clapping
  • Once they’re paying attention, introduce that you will be performing, include:
    • Thanks for your attention
    • Geimei
    • Song name
    • Instrument name
    • anything additional
    • Kudasai enjoy
  • Then bow for a few seconds before standing
  • Seiza sit as you scooch on to the cushion
  • Seiza bow, equip instrument, sit up
  • Select your performance category according to what you’re doing (Solo, collaboration, or traditional - accompanied by a dance)
  • Select the song you will be playing
  • Click “Ready”, then “Play” to begin

Performance Introductions (after)

A
  • When the song is done, click play again to stop it
  • Unequip the instrument and dogeza, followed by something like “Ookini/arigato gozaimasu for listening”
  • Scoot off of the cushion and stand before bowing to the audience as they clap
  • Can conclude by saying something like “You may now continue your conversations”

Performance Collaborations

A
  • 2+ people, one plays sound while the rest play “ColabEmpty”
  • Should be in sync when it comes to starting and stopping
  • Playing empty = no need to play
  • Playing sound = need to play it (Pref best player)
  • Communicate queues

  • Timeline shows selected poses/animations and their frames

A
  • Click an unassigned animation
    • Brings up a menu
    • Red X deletes the animation
    • Blue is when the frame starts
    • Yellow is frame speed
    • Green is when the frame ends
  • Click animation again to save it to the timeline
