What is Mediation?

A

Formal method of resolving a dispute between parties with the help of a third party (outsider). The third party person does not make any decisions or suggestions, they only help the parties in dispute work towards an agreement.

What is arbitration?

A

A third party is involved similar to a mediation, however, in arbitration the third party makes a decision in the end. FWC can be an arbitrator.
