Extra notes:
- Allergy indicator: Anaphylaxis, hive, immediate rash - AVOID penicillin and other beta lactam ABx
- Minor AEs: Rash after 3 days minor small non itchy - CONTINUE pen.

-IF stopping penicillin more likely start macrolide ALT.

AMOXI key interactions: WAM
Warfarin - Amoxi effects anticoagulant effect
Allopurinol - increases risk of skin rash
Methotrexate - increases risk of toxicity - penicillin’s reduce renal excretion of methotrexate

ALT for penicillin allergy (EXAM Q)
- Clarithromycin
- Erythromycin
- Doxycycline
