1) THERMOPEXY

  • Release of caloric energy

2) PLASTICITY = Feature of the mud to change its form under the action of external force

3) ABSORPTION

  • Capacity to bring the elements inside the molecular surface of the clay + hold onto them
  • Used to **DECREASE Swelling*(

4) ADSORPTION

  • Capacity to attract elements toOUTSIDE of molecular structure of clay + hold onto them
  • INCREASES the ability of clay to BIND to LARGER Toxins
