Indications
A
Adult
CPO: providing CPAP is indicated but not available and SpO2 <90% despite treatment:
10cmH2O w/o RR assistance
If not improvement: increase to 15cmH2O and if breathing ineffective provide assistance
TBI: 5cmH2O
Other: 10cmH2O
Child: other - 5cmH2O
Neonates: everything: 5cmH2O

Cautions
A
Ventilation via ETT or LMA and pt has signs of shock
Ventilation via BVM and pt has decreased LOC or is vomiting

A
Adult or child cardiac arrest
