What is a good definition for mid parental height and how do we calculate it for boys and girls?
Genetic potential. Good guess of how tall the kid will be when they are done growing.
Boys= add mom and dads height then add 5 and then divide the whole thing by 2.
Girls= add mom and dads height then minus 5 and then divide the whole thing by 2
What am I thinking is the problem if I am looking at a growth chart and the growth curve is falling off too quickly first? Length falls of first? Head circumference falls off first?
