    -war must be de cleared by the correct authority
  3. Good intentions
    -intentions of the war must be to defeat wrong doing and promote good
  4. Last resort
    -all other ways of resolving the issue must’ve been attempted before war can be declared
  5. Change of success
    -it’s unjust to ask people to fight a war if it is her probable that the war will be lost and they will be killed
  6. Proportional
    -methods used to fight the war must be proportional to achieve success
