Engine fire on the ground

A

PCL - Idle

Condition lever - Cut-off/feather

ACS EMERG shut off - Pull

FUEL EMERG shut off - Press latch down and pull lever up

Radio - Emergency call

MASTER POWER switch - OFF

Parking brake - OFF (If possible)

Aircraft - EvacuateFire - Extinguish

Engine Fire in flight

A

Engine power - reduce to minimum acceptable according to flight situation

ACS EMERG shut off - Pull

Oxygen donning procedure - commence

Aircraft - check for fire

If fire exists

FUEL EMERG shut off - press latch down and pull lever up

Condition lever - Cut off / feather

BAT 2 Switch - Off

If smoke evacuation required

ACS EMERG shut off - Pull

CABIN PRESSURE switch - DUMP

When cabin diff is zero

DV window open

Fans vent switch low

Engine ITT

A

ITT - Check ITT indication

If ITT above 850

PCL - Reduce power

If ITT warning remains

Aircraft - Land as soon as possible using minimum power

Engine NG on ground/after start

A

NG - Check NG indication

If above 103.5%

PCL - Reduce power

If NG is below 60%, select any as convenient

Condition lever - Flight idle; or

Electrical heat/cool - Inhibit; or

ACS Bleed air - Inhibit

Engine NG in flight (over speed)

A

NG - check NG indication

If NG is above 103.5%

PCL - reduce power

If NG is above 104%

PCL - reduce power

Aircraft speed - reduce to 120 KIAS or below

Aircraft - land as soon as possible using minimum practicable power

Engine NG (NG under speed)

A

NG - Check NG indication

If NG is below 60%

PCL - increase power

Aircraft speed - increase

If engine does not respond to PCL inputs

Carry out engine failure in flight - partial loss of power procedure

PCL - idle

MOR - Pull upwards and move slowly forward until engine responds, wait and let engine stabilise.

Engine NP (on ground immediately after start)

A

NP - Check RPM indication

If propellor RPM is below 950 select as convenient

Condition lever - flight idle; or

Electrical heat/cool - INHIBIT; or

ACS Bleed air - INHIBIT; or

PCL - Retard aft of the idle detent until NP is above 950 RPM

NP - Check NP RPM indication

If propellor RPM is below 930

PCL - Retard aft of idle detent or increase power until NP is above 950

If propellor RPM is above 1760

PCL - Reduce power

Engine oil pressure

A

Oil - Check oil PSI indication

If engine oil pressure warning is confirmed

NG - check NG above 72%

Torque - reduce below 24 PSI

If engine oil pressure warning remains

Aircraft - Land as soon as possible using minimum power

Engine oil temp (on ground)

A

Oil - check oil temperature indication

If oil temperature is high

Aircraft - Position into wind

Condition lever - Flight idle

PCL - increase power

If oil temperature does not return to normal

Electrical heat/cool switch - Inhibit

If engine oil temperature warning remains

Engine - shut down engine, maintenance required

If engine oil temperature is -40 or above

PCL use low power settings until oil temperature is above 10 degrees C

Essential Bus

A

Overhead Panel - Confirm EPS switch is in ARMED position and EPS ON caption is on

Pitch Trim - Use Alternate Stab Trim

Aircraft - At pilots discretion, continue flight without services of failed bus or land as soon as possible.

Do not fly in icing conditions

Generators

A

Systems MFD - Confirm the failures

Gen 1 switch - RESET then on

Gen 2 switch - RESET then on

If generators do not reset (warning remains on)

Systems MFD - Monitor Bat 1 and Bat 2

Aircraft - Land as soon as possible.

Do not fly in icing conditions

A

Trim Interrupt switch - INTR

Pitch Trim CB (essential bus A1L) - Pull

Trim Interrupt switch - NORM

If trim runaway continues

Trim Interrupt switch - INTR

A

PCL - Ensure forward of idle detent

If it is not possible to maintain speed and height

Condition lever - Cut-off/feather

A

Condition lever - Cut-off/feather

Start Interrupt switch - Push

Bat 1 and bat 2 switches - Off

Ext PWR (if available) - Off

Aircraft - Maintenance action required

A

Bus Tie C/B (EPM Panel) - Pull

Starter BC (essential Bus LL1) - Pull

Gen 1 and Gen 2 switches - Off

AP Hold (RH) Wing DN, or AP Hold Nose (Up)

A

Airplane control wheel and rudder pedals - Grasp and position feet to gain aircraft control

Autopilot disengage switch - Press to disengage the autopilot

Aircraft - Re-trim manually as necessary

If no AFCS associated CAS messages

Aircraft - attempt to re-engage autopilot once

FLAP - AS REQD

GEAR - AS REQD

“BRACE, BRACE, BRACE” AND MAYDAY IF TIME PERMITS

After landing and stopped

MSTR PWR - EMERGENCY OFF

MEDICAL BATTERY - OFF

EVACUATE - AS REQD

A

COMMENCE TURNBACK MAX 45 AOB, 110KIAS

SELECT FLAP 15

PCL - IDLE

MOR - CHECK NG/FF AND CONSIDER

If no response, when runway sighted,

CONDITION LEVER - CUTOFF

FUEL EMER SHUTOFF - SHUTOFFF

LAP - AS REQD (40 Prior to touchdown)

GEAR - AS REQD

“BRACE, BRACE, BRACE” AND MAYDAY IF TIME PERMITS

After landing and stopped

MSTR PWR - EMERGENCY OFF

MEDICAL BATTERY - OFF

EVACUATE - AS REQD
