Single solid white edge line
Marks the right edge of the roadway
Single solid yellow edge line
Marks the left edge of the roadway on divided highways and one-way streets
Single broken white lane line
You may cross this line to change lanes when it is safe to do so
Single solid white lane line
You may travel in the same direction on both sides of this line, but do not cross it except to avoid hazard
Double Solid White Lane Line
Crossing a double solid line/changing lanes is not allowed
Single broken Yellow lane Line
Stay to the right of the line unless you can safely pass a car ahead of you on the left
Double solid yellow lane lines
Vehicles moving in either direction must not pass/cross these lines unless safely turning left
Double yellow lane lines solid on right broken on left
Passing is not allowed in this line but may turn left when safe to do so
Double yellow lines broken on right solid on left
Passing is permitted in this lane when it is safe to do so
Lane marked with a curved arrow and the word “ONLY”
You must turn in the direction of the arrow
Lane marked with both a curved and straight arrow
You may either turn or go straight
Two-way roadway with center lane
Drivers from either direction may use the center lane for left turns; you must not use it for passing
Reversible Lanes
Direction of traffic reversed at set times marked with special pavement markings, signals, signs
Solid white lane lines with bike signs/symbols
Exclusive bike lane
Lane marked with sharrows
Shared use lane where bicyclists and motorists can both use entire lane
