Spool pin
Holds the spool of thread while sewing
Thread guide
Guides the thread from the spool to the needle
Take up lever
Goes down to loosen the thread to form stitches and comes back up to remove excess thread as stitches are formed
Tension disc
Controls the flow of the thread to the needle
Pressure regulator
Controls the pressure of the presser foot on the fabric
Balance wheel
Lower and rises the needle
Stop motion screw
When loosed prevent the thread from moving while the bobbin is being filled
Bobbin winder
Fills the bobbin with thread
Stitch selector
Chooses the type of stitch required
Needle position selector
Moves the needle to the left, right or Centre position
Stitch length regulator
Choses the length of stitch required to sew the fabric
Reverse Button
When depressed it allows the machine to stitch backwards to reinforce the stitching at the beginning and end
Presser foot
When lowered it holds the fabric in place
Presser foot lever
Lowers and rises the presser foot
Feed Dog
Moves the fabric along after each stitch
