what are the types of adjectives

A
  • quality / descriptive > describes what kind | E.g - red, tall
  • proper > from proper nouns, have a capital letter | E.g - Zulu nation
  • possessive > shows ownership | E.g - my, his… our classroom
  • demonstrative > points things out | E.g - (s) this, that / that learner (pl) these, those / those books
  • interrogative > helps ask questions | E.g - which, what… Which desk do you want?
  • 1 = number 2 = quantity > 1 = numbers when accompanying a noun, 2 = to show indefinite / definite amounts | E.g - 1 = one, two, three… one book, ten DVDs, 2 = all, whole, half, most, less… I drank more water than you.
