A

prepositions

A
a word that shows a relationship between a noun or pronoun and another word in the sentence.  it often shows the relationship of time or place. it always begins a prepositional phrase, which contains a preposition, a noun or pronoun (OP), and sometimes an adjective describing the OP
I went (in the house), (around the red house).
I like every movie (except that one).  I love movies (like Harry Potter)  (about magic)
