Coordinating Conjuction + Examples
Used after a comma when joining to independent clauses (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so)
Subordinating Conjuction + Examples
Make a clause subordinate, dependent (because, since, while, so that, as though, just as, when)
Adverbial Conjunctions + Examples
Work like coordinating but generally more formal (however, moreover, therefore, nevertheless, notwithstanding)
Interjection
Shows sudden, strong feeling
Noun
Names a person, place, thing, animal, or idea
