1. Assign each person with a partner for a specific day of the week
2. Pair up by saying pair up with your Wednesday partner

1. Pass out erasers with characters on them

2. Students pair up with others that have the same characters as them

Tallest to Shortest

Answer 4

1. Students line up silently tallest to shortest
2. Fold the line in half, tallest matching with the shortest
3. Who ever they line up across from is their partner

Birthday Month

1. Students will silently line up by birth month and day (January - December)
2. The person they are next to is their partner

Elbow Partner

1. Students will be sitting in their desks

2. When they stick out their elbow, whoever is closest is their partner

1. Students will be sitting in their desks

2. Whoever they are facing is their partner

Famous Duo/Trio

1. Pass out cards with people on them (individuals)
2. Students will look for the other person that makes up their duo or trio among other students
3. When they are matched, that is their partner or group

Compass Partner

1. Divide the room into North, East, South, and West
2. Have students pair with one student from the other areas
3. Call out the areas to match up with each other for partners (e.g. North pair with your South partner and East with your West partner)

Puzzle Pieces

1. Cut note cards in half in different patterns
2. Pass them out randomly to students
3. Students will search the class for the piece that matches up with theirs, and they will be partners
