Q

method to measure volume

A
  1. to measure the volume, use a eureka can and fill it with the maximum amount of water that it allows.
  2. put a measuring cylinder under the spout
  3. carefully, place the statue in the can
  4. measure the displaced water that comes out of the spout and into the cylinder
  5. find the mass of the statue by placing it on a balance and recording the mass.
  6. to find the density of the statue, divide the mass by the volume of displaced water.
