• Case went to the court where Parks and King won.. Buses were desegregated in 1956.

• finally enrolled at the high-school with the protection of the army.
• Violence broke out again and the school was closed.
• desegregation failed to gain strong support from either state or federal government.. diffucult to enforce law.
